SELECTION FOR TWO NON TENURE- RACK, FIXED TERM POSITIONS OF ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in accordance with art. 24 paragraph 3, letter a) of Italian law 240/2010 - BIOROBOTICS INSTITUTE

The Sant'Anna School by Rectoral Decree no. 711  dated December, 14  2016, whose notice has been published on Gazzetta Ufficiale - Serie Concorsi ed Esami no. 103 dated 30/12/2016, has opened two public selections for the recruitment of two  assistant professors (ricercatori a tempo determinato) with full time positions, non tenure track temporary  contracts (3 years) pursuant to art. 24 paragraph 3 letter A of Italian Law no. 240/2010 in the Academic Recruitment Field of Bioengineering (SC 09/G2) at the BioRobotics Institute for the followiong positions:

Position A (Profilo A) Research activities will be in the field of Neural Engineering, Neuroprosthetics, Neuromorphic Engineering, and Neuro-robotics. The Assistant Professor will develop innovative devices and algorithms for the modeling of the mechanisms underlying nervous system functions and for their validation by means of robotic platforms, for the restoration and augmentation of upper and lower limb sensorimotor functions, and for the neuromodulation of the autonomic nervous system. Didactic activity is also required.

Position B (Profilo B) The successful candidate will pursue research in the framework of wearable robotics for the restoration/augmentation/rehabilitation of the sensory and motor functions of the upper and lower limbs. In particular he/she will design, integrate and develop biomechatronic devices, sensing systems, methods for the control or the sensory feedback of actuated exoskeletons or prostheses, in addition to assessment procedures aimed to evaluating them functionally. Didactic activity is also required.

NEW DATE OF THE INTERVIEW

Position B: The results of the selection have been approved by Rectorale Decree no 158 dated March 16  2017 and Dr. Matteo Cianchetti has been declared winner.
