2017 JOB FAIR- OCTOBER 25-26, ITALIAN HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS STUDENTS TALK WITH HR PROFESSIONALS AND RECRUITERS

The annual Job Fair event in Pisa brings together HR professionals, recruiters from a wide variety of companies and organizations and Italian Higher Education Institutions talented students and best graduates. Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore, IUSS Pavia, Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca, Gran Sasso Science Institute and Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati will participate in fourth edition of the Job Fair to be held on October 25 - 26, together with recruiters and managers who get the opportunity to have a face-to-face interaction with the six universities top candidates. The Job Fair will be an initial screen of talent and 45 Italy’s leading companies have the chance to engage with high qualified college students and alumni. This event focuses on job opportunities. Students from all majors and at all stages of their careers are encouraged to attend. For students about to graduate, for PhD students, for Master Students, this job fair can provide a major boost to discuss employment opportunities. Registration is open until Wednesday, 18 October 2017.

Additional participating companies have been added to the past job fairs list, also thanks to the alumni network who identified the most effective job search strategy ; Chiomenti,  Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, Generali, Leonardo, Unicredit,  Società e Salute, and Valagro will also attend the two-day event. A round table meeting will be held on October 25 at Scuola Normale (3.00 pm) on initiatives that institutions of higher education take to provide job opportunities for their talented students to reach their highest potential.

A list of all major initiatives will be announced at a later date.

On October 26, at Sant'Anna School (9.00 am), employers will provide interviews for employment and internships in consulting, finance, industry, health services, legal services, banking and insurance sectors.

Governments are working to promote entrepreneurship and small and medium-sized businesses increasing the role of the private sector, and students and graduates who completed their higher education would benefit from networking events and information session which will give them practical advice for job opportunities or work experience. Employers have recognized the importance of education and skills and are investing in career fairs to meet labor market demands. The Job fair in Pisa will serve as a bridge to connecting top students and companies in mutually beneficial ways.
