The Istitute develops high-qualified training actions, by sharing  the expertise of its teachers and  the technologies it holds in its laboratories.

Now, among the high-training initiatives at the Institute, there is a Master Universitario di Primo livello running.

Master diploma in Photonic Integrated Circuits and NETworks (PIXNET) - running

The Photonic Integrated Circuits, Sensors and NETworks (PIXNET) – Local path  is a two-year programme (120 ECTS) aimed at training talented students in the design, creation and assessment of innovative integrated devices based on photonic technologies. The set of learning outcomes include the theoretical design of system/network devices, the design and simulation of a photonic integrated circuit, fabrication in a clean room facility and the packaging and final testing of the prototypes.

PIXNET intends to be an interdisciplinary, multi-national initiative, training young telecommunication and electrical engineers to investigate the adoption of Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) as the central element in the evolution of information and communication devices (e.g. Data Centers, mobile terminals, etc.).

PIXNET encompasses a wide range of topics and expertise, through paths that provides specified skills and practices for enrolling students.

As part of the Master, Sant’Anna School has been awarded of a Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s degree project. Indeed, you can obtain the diploma Master Universitario di I livello – PIXNET joined other four Master of Science curricula, through mobility paths abroad, planned ad hoc in order to enhance your  studies on photonics and its applications.
