The European Night of Researchers is an event that takes place every year throughout Europe, on the last Friday of September, with the aim of bringing the public closer to the world of science and research. In Tuscany it is simply called Bright-Night and is promoted by all Tuscan universities with the support of the Tuscany Region.

BRIGHT-NIGHT combines the acronym “Brilliant Researchers Impact on Growth Health and Trust in research” with the word NIGHT to make a brilliant night thanks to the passion of researchers for research who during this night organize guided tours, demonstrations, games, competitions and workshops involving teenagers and children. An unmissable opportunity for:

• Meet researchers who are passionate about their work and ready to share knowledge and experiences;
• Attend scientific demonstrations that reveal the secrets of the universe, the human body and the latest technologies;
• Participate in practical laboratories and workshops to learn while having fun and try your hand at research activities;
• Explore museums, universities, research centers and other places usually inaccessible to the public;
• Dialogue with scientists and citizens on issues important to the future of our planet, such as sustainability, health and innovation

The Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna opens its doors on 27 September 2024 at Palazzo Pilo Boyl.
