Academic Senate

The Academic Senate is the representative body of the academic community and it plans, guides and governs the School's teaching, research and third mission activities and acts act as coordinator and liaison among the Faculties, the Institutes and the Interdisciplinary Research Centres and their activities. It is responsible for the overall operation of the institution and exercises all the powers delegated to it by the rules of the university system, the Statute and regulations.

The Senate is composed by 13 members. The Pro-Rector and the Managing Director participate in meetings without the right to vote:

  • Representative of Institute's Directors of  the Faculty of Social Sciences
  • Representative of Institute's Directors of  the Faculty of Experimental Sciences

  • Representative of Full Professors
  • Representative of Associate Professors
  • Representative of Researcher
  • Representative of research fellow who has achieved a PhD diploma
  • Representative of Honors students
  • Representative of PhD students
  • Representatives of Researchers and Administrative technical staff
