Bio
Soil quality and microbial diversity (arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, AMF; total fungi; bacteria and archaea) by chemical, biochemical and molecular approaches. In detail, morphological, molecular and functional diversity of AMF; visualization of the AMF structures by microscopy; development of new molecular probes for classification/monitoring of AMF; setting-up and run of field experiments of application of organic and biological fertilizers to field crops; selection of exotic and native AMF isolates for inoculum production; assessment of plant nutrient uptake and crop yield and quality; biological, climatic and molecular data analysis (uni- and multivariate statistics, bioinformatics meta-analysis) using commercial softwares and the R platform.; report writing and project co-writing.
