Constitutional Referendum, beyond Yes and No: on July 12th a workshop to explore and discuss the topic in depth
A workshop to discuss in depth the constitutional reform approved by the parliament and subject to the referendum to be held next October, is scheduled for Tuesday, July 12th, 6.00 pm at Sant’Anna School for Advanced Studies. Emanuele Rossi, vice rector, professor of constitutional law who recently published the essay “A better constitution? Contents and limits of the constitutional reform", will deliver the keynote speech.
Invited speakers include researchers of Sant’Anna School: Francesca Biondi Dal Monte will focus on “Approval process of the reform”, Andrea Marchetti discuss on “Moving beyond the ‘perfect bicameralism’” and Elena Vivaldi address the “The reform of Title V”.
The meeting aims at exploring the political consequences of Yes and No options, to allow everyone of us to make informed voting choice. After the opening remarks on the constitutional reform contents, the speakers will consider the pros and cons of the reform for a detailed analysis of advantages and disadvantages.
