Fuoriclasse Beyond Borders: the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Sustainability and Climate met a school group from the Püha Johannese School in Tallinn, for seminar on environment
Fuoriclasse, the initiative of the Sant'Anna School created to bring high school students closer to the world of research, has organized the first international seminar on 8 May with the students of the Püha Johannese School in Tallinn (Estonia).
Present at the meeting were the Pro Rector of the Third Mission Marco Frey, the associated professors Monia Niero and Giaime Berti of the Center for Interdisciplinary Research in Sustainability and Climate, the teachers Eleonora Annunziata and Maria Rosa De Giacomo of the Institute of Management.
On the agenda are topics such as Life Cycle Assessment and the role of companies and citizens in the energy transition process, an epochal change that is defining the future of our planet.
We talked about the way we produce, distribute and consume energy and how the transition aims to reduce dependence on fossil fuels, responsible for air pollution and climate change, and to favor renewable and sustainable energy sources.
After the seminar, the girls and boys of the Püha Johannese School concluded the visit with a guided tour of the central complex of the Sant'Anna School.
