OFFICIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND THE “PUBLIC INTEREST”, ETHICS MEASURES FOR CITIZENS AND PUBLIC SERVICE: SANT’ANNA SCHOOL DIRPOLIS INSTITUTE RESEARCHER COORDINATES THE 19th “SCUOLA DI ALTA FORMAZIONE DI ACQUI TERME” BEGINNING JUNE 3, 2019
The 19th “Scuola di Alta Formazione di Acqui Terme” training program promoted by the City Council authority of Acqui Terme (Alessandria), will be held at Palazzo Levi - Sala Consiglio on Monday, June 3, 2019, 9.00 am. Sant’Anna School researcher of Political Philosophy Alberto Pirni (cover photo), is the scientific supervisor of the program designed to facilitate learning theories and to support policy-makers in constructing ethics strategies for the “Public Interest”. The program is offered in partnership with the Fondazione Banca Etica, Società Italiana di Filosofia Politica, and Lions Club Acqui Terme Host.
Keynote speakers include: Francesco Merloni (Agenzia Nazionale Anticorruzione), Professor Eugenio Bruti Liberati and Professor Salvatore Rizzello (Università del Piemonte Orientale), Professor Thomas Casadei (Università di Modena e Reggio Emilia), Professor Roberta Sala, (Università Vita Salute – San Raffaele- Milan), and Professor Marina Lalatta Costerbosa (Università di Bologna). Within the range of social science disciplines, academics and experts will discuss Public Ethics and Public Trust as a keystone of good governance. As part of a broader effort at the national and local level to promote good governance, modern core values and ethics measures will combine impartiality, legality and integrity with public accountability and transparency.
The event is free and open to the public. The program is offered also in partnership with the City Council authority of Acqui Terme and the Ordine degli Avvocati of Alessandria.
On successful completion of the program, participants earn ECTS credits and training education credits (for lawyers) are awarded for specific modules.
