Times Higher Education World Universities Rankings by subject: Sant’Anna School ranked in the global top 150 for Computer Science and in the top 125 for Engineering and Technology
Earlier this month Sant’Anna School enhanced its reputation for business and economics and was ranked one of best Italian institutions in Times Higher Education “Economics & Business World University Rankings”. Sant’Anna came 155th globally and now comes 101-125th for engineering and technology and 126-150th for computer science by the “Times Higher Education Rankings 2018 by subject”.
Sant’Anna School, as a young university established in 1987, has been recognised for being a world-leading institution for teaching and research. The league tables include 400 institutions from across the world which have been ranked based on the same 13 calibrated performance indicators used in the global World Universities Rankings to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons. In Italy, Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore are the only universities to feature in the global top 200.
The Faculty of Communications and Information Technology and the Faculty of Industrial Engineering at Sant’Anna School have seen a rapid growth in the past eight years. The faculties include several academic departments which provide many opportunities for interdisciplinary research including Perception Technology, Biorobotics and Soft Robotics.
