Sant'Anna School Honor Students in New York to participate in the "Change the World Model UN New York": 5 thousand students from 142 countries discuss issues of international relevance

10 Honor Students from the Social Sciences Class of the Sant'Anna School are participating in the "Change the World Model UN New York" ("CWMUN"), the most prestigious of all the events related to the CWMUN World Program, with the participation of more than 5 thousand students from over 142 countries who are meeting in New York. The team is led by Anna Loretoni, Full Professor of Political Philosophy and Dean of the Academic Class of Social Sciences.
The Sant'Anna's School third - and fourth-year students of Law, Economics and Political Science are taking part in the prestigious event, scheduled between Friday, March 24, and Sunday, March 26, thanks to an agreement between the Sant'Anna School and the Diplomats Association. The trip to New York for them is free of charge, with expenses paid in full by the two institutions.
Participation in the event includes a simulation, during which the students divide into pairs to represent diplomatic delegations from a number of states on United Nations committees. The simulation allows those who participate to meet their peers from around the world and discuss issues of international relevance.
In addition, on Tuesday, March 28, the group of Sant'Anna School students has the opportunity to meet with a delegation from Italy's permanent representation to the UN.
