M'illumino di meno

Sant'Anna School joins the National Day for Energy Saving and Lifestyles.
M'llumino di meno

"M'illumino di meno" is a national initiative born in 2005 on the proposal of Caterpillar, a radio program on Rai Radio 2, with the aim of raising public awareness of the importance of energy saving and environmental sustainability. The event takes place every year on February 16th and involves thousands of people, institutions, companies and schools throughout Italy.

The date chosen for the initiative is not random: February 16th falls in fact during the period in which the day begins to lengthen, symbolically marking the transition towards spring and inviting us to reflect on the importance of conscious use of energy even in coldest and darkest months of the year.

The initiative has a significant impact not only in terms of energy saving, but also in terms of environmental awareness and education.

Through active participation, the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna promotes a cultural change towards more sustainable and environmentally friendly lifestyle habits.
