Cascade calls "THE" Spoke 10 Population Health

The Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, as part of the project THE Ecosystem of Innovation, funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU as part of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – M4C2, From research to business, is about to issue the "cascade calls", i.e. public notices through which part of the project's resources will be allocated to subjects external to the partnership (public, private bodies, companies) for the financing of research and development activities, functional to the full implementation of the PNRR projects of the 'University.

The tenders will be published by November and the selected projects, which will have to start at the beginning of 2024, will have a duration of 15 months.

The tenders will have a total budget of over 2.9 million euros, of which 2 million to be allocated to institutions and companies that have their operational headquarters in the regions of Southern Italy (that is, the investments must be made and/or ascribed to the unit premises of the beneficiary company duly registered at the Chamber of Commerce or public bodies located in Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily).

The notices will be issued by the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, one for each research project which involves the involvement of external public and private entities:

There are 6 topics identified in the notices, on which questions can be submitted

  • € 2,000,000.00 resources specifically allocated to the Southern Regions (Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia and Sicily)
  • €    900,000.00 without territorial restrictions.
