Overlapping Easts: from shared Neighbourhoods to Globalised Borderlands and Rethinking Revolution: 1917-2017
The Research Group on Eastern Europe, Russia and Eurasia (Res/East), within the DIRPOLIS Institute, is pleased to announce the call for papers for the two-day international conference 'Overlapping Easts: from shared Neighbourhoods to Globalised Borderlands and Rethinking Revolution: 1917-2017' that will be held at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies on 18-19 December 2017.
On the first day, the four panels will be devoted from different perspectives to the restructuring of the Post-Soviet space. The following day the debate moving from the legacy of the 1917 Russian Revolution will reflect on the meaning of revolution as an instrument of political change.
The conference is part of the project 'EU-Russia, Connecting People and Ideas Revolution, Post-Soviet Space, Information', which received the support of the European Commission in the framework of the Erasmus + Programme-Jean Monnet Activities.
The conference represents a unique opportunity for the School to host international speakers and experts on the subject. The Call for Papers is available here.
