Silvia Buratti

Silvia was born in Rome the 17th December 1998. She obtained the Bachelor Degree in Medical Engineering at Tor Vergata University of Rome in 2020. Moreover, in February 2023she completed with honours the Master Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the Campus Bio-Medico University of Rome. She carried out her Master Thesis titled "Effect of Vibrotactile Feedback on the Control of the Interaction Force of a Supernumerary Robotic Arm" at the ISIR of the Sorbonne University of Paris. She is currently a PhD Student at the Surgical Robotics and Allied Technologies Area Lab of the Biorobotics Institute, working on a robotic platform for High Intensity Focused Ulstrasound Surgery.
