Publishing in Open Access: an IEEE publisher's workshop, organized by the Sant'Anna School and the University of Pisa, is scheduled for Thursday, March 16, to explain the benefits of open access publishing
The "IEEE Workshop 'Publish in Open Access' How to Publish in Open Access" is scheduled for Thursday, March 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Aula magna Pacinotti of the School of Engineering, University of Pisa (Largo Lucio Lazzarino 1). The initiative is jointly organized by the Sant'Anna School's Library and the University of Pisa's Library System, together with publisher IEEE.
The workshop aims to illustrate the possibilities of publishing in Open Access, at no additional cost to the author through the transformative contract, with the IEEE publisher. In fact, through an Open Access Read & Publish agreement with IEEE, it is possible to publish Open Access articles in IEEE journals and magazines. This results in increased research visibility.
Talks are scheduled by Eszter Lucaks, IEEE Client Services Manager, Gastone Ciuti, professor of Industrial Bioengineering at the Institute of Biorobotics, Sant'Anna School, and Agostino Monorchio, professor at the Department of Information Engineering, University of Pisa.
