Access to services during the closure of the Library

Starting from June 3, 2024, the Library is closed to the public for major renovations that will affect all rooms, upgraded to provide more space for our users.

 Library services are open at the first floor of the San Gerolamo Cloister, in the former governance rooms.

 Borrowing services will be guaranteed for volumes not transferred.

The rooms will be accessible with the following schedule:
Former General Manager room/ Governance Meeting room Mon. - Fri. 7.30 AM - 01.00 AM, plus weekends
Former Rector Room/ Front Office Mon. - Thu. 9.00 AM - 6.00 PM ; Fri. 9.00 AM - 3.00 PM

To request the volumes placed in the Aula Magna Storica, it will be necessary to write an email to prestiti.biblioteca@santannapisa.it; the volumes will be made available within one business day from the request, after receiving a confirmation email from the staff.

Circulation of volumes located at the Archivio SSSUP will not change.

The other libraries in Pisa are available to support our users during this period; simply -for those who are not already- sign up for the SNS Library or UNIPI Library System loan services.

We recommend priority use of digital information resources, accessible through OneSearch on our website https://www.santannapisa.it/it/biblioteca.

All other Library services will be provided regularly: purchasing, cataloguing, access to electronic resources, bibliographic information, interlibrary loan and document delivery.
