The Course is part of the “Tuscan Start-Up Academy 4.0” project sponsored by Regione Toscana (POR CRO FSE 2014-2020) which provides the organization of courses on entrepreneurship in academic field, on fundraising for research activities and issues related to Industry 4.0. The main objective of the Course is the acquisition of skills on entrepreneurship and business creation by students and young researchers.

The objectives of the course are to provide participants with an appropriate understanding of the tools needed for the analysis of the business planning process that leads to the creation of a new business (or a new project within an already established company).

The Course will consist In 7 modules, for 20 hours as following: 
Lecture #1 - Why should I become a high-tech entrepreneur?

Lecture #2 - From the first idea to the business plan … and beyond 
Lecture Lecture #3 – Let’s do it seriously. Going beyond the first steps 
Lecture #4 – The importance of Intellectual Property rights
Lecture #5 – Not only technology! Administration and taxes in start-ups.
Lecture#6 – Pisa-USA-Pisa: the exciting first years of a high-tech start-up 
Lecture#7 – Final presentations (2 hours)
