PANACEA is a knowledge-sharing project focused on the Pisa rural area, that aspires to increase the resilience of local agroecosystems with a coordinated and participatory approach.
PANACEA is a cooperative plan, which aims to disseminate ecological interventions and good agricultural practices, to preserve and restore the naturalness of the landscape and stimulate the adoption of suitable measures for climate change adaptation and mitigation.

The cross-cutting objectives of the project are:

• to increase innovation in agriculture through the dissemination of guidelines for interventions updated to change the climatic conditions and the needs of the Tuscany Region's rural development policies.
• the dissemination of the main sustainable agri-environmental practices for the management of the Pisa rural plain area.
• to reach the following target audiences: farmers, trade associations, territorial bodies, government agencies, environmental associations, research centers and private citizens.
