Bio

Fabio Iraldo is full professor of Management at Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, where he directs the PhD programme in Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare. He is co-director of the SuM Laboratory - Sustainability Management of Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, director of the Green Economy Observatory at Bocconi University and deputy director of the inter-university center CESISP (Circular Economy, Industrial Symbiosis and Product Sustainability), founded in 2006 by the Institute of Management of Sant'Anna, the University of Genoa and the Polytechnic of Turin. He has coordinated many projects on the topics of circular economy and environmental footprint funded by the European Commission, such as the Life PREFER and Life EFFIGE projects. He was also a leading consultant for the European Commission in the evaluation process of Sustainable Production and Consumption policies, that created the recent EU strategy "Building the Single Market for Green Products" and the Circular Economy Package. In 2006, he founded ERGO - Energies and Resources for the Governance Of Sustainability - the first spin-off company of Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. He is the author of many scientific articles on the role of companies in sustainable development, published in international scientific journals with Impact Factor. His most recent books are "Beyond Greenwashing" (Edizioni Ambiente, 2020), "Management of climate change risks" (FrancoAngeli, 2020) and "Management of the Circular Economy" (FrancoAngeli, 2020).
