Bio

I am a 4th-year PhD student at the Institute of Economics. Before, I studied economics in Tor Vergata and Pompeu Fabra, and Economic History at the University of Oxford. My PhD dissertation investigates social mobility and infant abandonment in 19t-century Italy and, at the moment, I am working on estimates of the intergenerational mobility of foundlings and their descendants in 19th-century Florence.

Research

My research interest focus on Italian economic history, in particular on occupational mobility and female employment.
