Hi, welcome to my page!
I am a PhD Student at the Institute of Economics, Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. I hold my Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Catania in 2018 and my Master's degree in Economics and Economic Policy from the University of Bologna in 2021.
Research
I work in the fields of financialization, macrofinance, macro and financial history, as well as macroeconomic policy and political economy. I am also intrigued by all those non-economic domains that aim to analyze finance from a socio-economic perspective, from the sociology of finance and economic sociology to historical sociology and political science.

Currently, I am working on a thesis that aims to study the long-run evolution and development of banking, bubbles, crashes, and financial markets by combining historical quantitative evidence (Chapter 1), the history of economic analysis (Chapter 2), and modeling techniques (Chapter 3).
