Agrifood sustainability: the DIRPOLIS (Law, Politics, Development) Institute of the Sant'Anna School and ICC Agri-Food Hub Italia sign a partnership to promote research and training in the field

A partnership between the DIRPOLIS (Law, Policy, Development) Institute of the Sant'Anna School and ICC Agri-Food Hub Italia for the promotion of research and training in the field of agrifood sustainability has kicked off. Specifically, the collaboration involves the AgLaw Research Group of the DIRPOLIS Institute of the Sant'Anna School in agri-food law, with study, dissemination and public engagement activities aimed at all stakeholders in the agri-food supply chain. The main objective is to trace innovative and sustainable solutions useful in addressing current and future challenges.

"The academic partnership with the DIRPOLIS Institute broadens the scope of the ICC Agri-Food Hubs project, also involving the academic world on a now unavoidable topic such as agrifood sustainability", said Ettore Pietrabissa, president of ICC Italy.

Mariagrazia Alabrese, coordinator of the research group of the Sant'Anna School, underlines how: "the partnership will strengthen cooperation with the companies of the Sant'Anna School, allowing us to respond to the real training and research needs of the agri-food sector in relation to an essential theme, such as that of sustainability".
