The Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject for “Social Sciences” and “Business & Economics” released today are based on the same range of 13 performance indicators used in the overall World University Rankings 2020. While the methodology was recalibrated for each subject to suit the individual fields, Sant’Anna School is consistently ranked among the top 250 universities in the world for the “Social Sciences” subjects (which encompasses Political Science) and among the top 100 universities in the world for “Business & Economics” (which encompasses Economics and Management).
The tables published on November 6, provide the most comprehensive and standardized method measuring the world top 720 universities in social sciences (27 universities assessed within Italy) and the top 632 universities in business and economics (33 universities assessed within Italy) across their core missions – teaching, research, knowledge transfer and international outlook. Through the University Rankings 2020, prospective students can choose to enroll in degree programs that provide high-quality university education.

In the pursuit of excellence, Sant’Anna School was ranked 86th globally for “Business & Economics” subject while it has continued to evolve in the “Social Sciences” subject taking the third place within Italy along with the Politecnico - Milano, University of Trento, and University of Florence.
