Times Higher Education World Universities Rankings by subject: Sant’Anna School ranked in the global top 250 for “Clinical, Pre-Clinical and Health” and in the top 175 for “Life Sciences”

Sant’Anna School, as a young university established in 1987, has confirmed its reputation as a leading institution for teaching and research. The Times Higher Education rankings’ Life Sciences and Clinical Health league tables judged university institutions performance across their core activities. Institutions from Italy and around the world have been ranked based on 13 calibrated performance indicators to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons (to measure international and local reputation and bibliometric indicators measuring academic performance, such as citations and publications). Sant’Anna ranked in the top 250 globally for the “Clinical, Pre-Clinical and Health” subject area and in the top 175 for the “Life Sciences” area.
Sant’Anna School enhanced its reputation in the fields of Medicine and Biotechnologies and over the past few years it has enjoyed a period of substantial growth. In Italy, Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore are the only universities that featured in the global top 200. Sant’Anna School recent progress was reflected by the business and economics league table published by the Times Higher Education World Universities Rankings by subject. Sant’Anna ranked in the top 150 for ”Business & Economics”, in the top 126th-150th for “Computer Science” and in the top 101st-125th for “Engineering and Technology.
