tuscany START CUP 2018 - BEST BUSINESS plan competition: SUBMIT YOUR BUSINESS PLAN BY OCTOBER 1, 2018: an opportunity for next generation entrepreneurs
The Start Cup Toscana 2018 is a business plan competition for the most disruptive technology entrepreneurship initiatives. The contest provides an opportunity for next generation entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative solutions to research and market challenges. Executive summaries and business plans may be submitted by 1st October 2018.
The Start Cup Toscana 2018 competition is organized by Sant’Anna School, ILONOVA - the network of Tuscan Universities in Siena, Pisa and Florence, and JOTTO – the joint Office for Technology Transfer between Sant’Anna School, Normale, IMT Alti Studi Lucca and IUSS Higher Education Institution in Pavia. The Tuscany Start Cup 2018, with the support of Tuscany Region authority, represents a regional competition of the Italian National Award for Innovation. This competition is open to researchers and entrepreneurs (who started their business in 2018) to accelerate the growth of Tuscany’s most promising entrepreneurs by providing mentorship, access to capital, and business development.
A panel of judges will select the finalists and winners in each award category (Life Science; ICT; Cleantech & Energy; Industrial). Finalists will be required to participate in the event to be held at Florence Sant’Apollonia auditorium on October 30, 2018. Winners of Start Cup Toscana 2018 will take part in the National Award for Innovation competition on 29-30 November 2018 in Verona.
