The Sant'Anna - IUSS Joint Ph.D. Programme in Economics provides advanced training across most domains of economic analysis. In particular, it comprises evolutionary perspectives on economic change, computational economics, economic networks and experimental economics. The training programme also covers areas usually neglected in traditional PhD Courses such as economic history, history of economic thought, neuroeconomics and quantitative tools for the study of dynamical systems. We aim to provide our students with the background of a complete social scientist, endowed with sound technical competences (especially quantitative), combined with the ability to interpret economic and social phenomena from different analytical perspectives.
Positions and grants:
At least 4 positions of 4 years grants will be available.
