Open access agreement between Wiley and CRUI

Wiley recently concluded negotiations with the Conference of Italian University Rectors (like ACS, Spinger and Emerald did), agreeing on a new four-year license. This will accelerate the open access (OA) publication.

The reading and publishing agreement allows CRUI members to access Wiley's subscription journals and grants researchers from participating Italian institutions the ability to publish approved open access articles in Wiley's hybrid journals. The structure of this agreement allows for a gradual move towards OA publication.

This is excellent news for the School’s researchers who wish to respect the mandates of the funders and make their work available to all, offering the possibility to read, quote and share them at no direct cost to them.
