The TRICK project aims to develop blockchain solutions to ensure traceability and information sharing and thus support the adoption of sustainable and circular approaches in the textile and food supply chain. The project will also create a dedicated market platform to allow third parties to market certified solutions and implement the principles of transparency and traceability. The demonstration project will take place in 2 highly complex and polluting areas: the textile-clothing sector as the main pilot and the food chain for replication activities.

As part of the TRICK Project, the contribution of the Sant'Anna School will focus on two main areas:

  1. The analysis of consumer behavior in relation to the purchase and recycling of second-hand clothing in the textile-clothing sector (TC) which will study the consumer response to sustainability, traceability and the adoption of a circular approach to TC products.
  2. The measurement of the impact of TRICK on the overall circularity level of the supply chains in question with reference to three different levels of analysis: the entire supply chain, individual players within the supply chain and individual phases of the supply chain.
