The pilot project for the experimental application of EMAS to the leather industrial district of Santa Croce sull'Arno and textile district of Prato, promoted by the European Commission under the Programme Interreg IIIC, addresses the reconstruction of the production processes, territorial assessment for the development of an Environmental Policy and a District Environmental Programme.
