Alessio Moneta wins a research grant of the Institute for New Economic Thinking
Alessio Moneta has won one of the 22 research grants awarded by The Institute for New Economic Thinking 2015 Grant Program.
His research project ‘Causal Analysis in Economics. Philosophical Underpinnings and Econometric Tools for Nonparametric, non-Gaussian, and Aggregative Settings’ addresses the problem of inferring causal relationships in economics. It investigates the philosophical roots of the problem and develops econometric tools which take into account the complexity of economic systems.
